  • Must. Stay. Awake.

On new drugs. Abilify. They're great. Gave me the motivation to nearly finish my novel.* But they have side effects. Light sensitivity, for one. And they make me kind of jittery. And they make me tired at the same time as being jittery. It's very weird to feel super drowsy and super antsy at the same time.

Right now it's mostly just the drowsy. So drowsy I nearly drive off the road everyday coming to work. So drowsy I can barely stay awake until lunchtime, at which point I finally wake the **** up, probably due to the caffeine in the dew.

    Blarg.

    * I promise my novel writing is better than my (current) forum writing.

Edit: Oh, I think I'm asking for advice.

    Loud music. Caffeine. Sugar.

Caffeine + loud music + sugar.

Some kinds of exercise help as well, also for some reason playing 10 min of a real time strategy wakes me up.

I've tried all four of those. Queens of the Stone Age, Peanut Butter M&Ms, Mountain Dew, and walking the perimeter of my office building. I'm pretty sure only the Dew has helped so far.

        Abilify

Seriously? This is a real name for a drug?

You need cocaine. A lot of it. Every twenty minutes or so. You'll never sleep again.

              Coffee and canabis.

It does the same thing as the prescription **** you are on, but at a fraction of the price.

Not really. At the dosage I'm on it's just a mood-stabilizer used in conjunction with my anti-depressants.

Wake up 5 hours before you go to work, take the pill and sleep til work, when the pill will "hit" you.
