    This is not stupid

    Native American peoples migrated from Asia... whether by the Bering land bridge or by a progression of kayak (or whatever silly ass boats those people used) adventures across the Pacific.

    So... it's not that much of a stretch to call them Indians. Because, they are more closely related to India than say other brown looking people. Right?

    and i'm not smoking weed right now either

                there's evidence of trans-Atlantic contacts going back 7500 years, its quite possible, even likely people were using the ice sheet to hug the "coastline" between Greenland, Iceland and Britain and when the ice melted making the trip much more hazardous, memories of the contacts with the new world faded
