In current 4e, magic missile always hits. In 3.0 and 3.5, magic missile only fails to hit if the target has spell resistance. In AD&D, there is a saving throw against magic attacks. I never played OD&D, so I can't comment on that. In short, rolling a natural 20 to hit with magic missile doesn't mean squat (unless you're playing un-errata'd 4e).Originally posted by self biased View PostNATURAL TWENTY!
