    I Did Something That I Find Disgusting. I Bought An MP3 Album From Amazon.

    I know. You can't believe it either. I'd rather tell you up front than have someone find out and tell on me.

    The Civil Wars - Barton Hollow (2011), for 5 dollars. It's not the cost, it's the philosophy behind it. I feel terrible. A download. I converted it out of habit.
    I also cleaned up their crap titling with my handy dandy Tag and Rename program.

          Had I bought an MP3 album from Amazon, I wouldn't feel the slightest sense of shame. I would just buy it, in a shameless way.

            It was a straight rip from CD. Variable bit rate, naturally. I made it 192 high quality. People in my circles of music that insist on somehow magically making them 320 are stupid.

                    what makes digital download so much worse than a CD were you still using tapes, 8 tracks or vinyl?
