Baseless? He can't even be bothered to serve another term in congress and he still wants to be president

Where does it say he can't be bothered to serve another term? He said he wanted to focus his efforts.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

Speculation - A conclusion, theory, opinion based upon conjecture

Baseless Speculation - See above without basis for conjecture.

Your evidence of his motive being "too tired" to run for congress is ______ as opposed to his stated rationale.

                Is he?

So let me see if I got this right.

Medical and psychiatric genius, Gribbler, has determined without physical or psychological screening of Mr. Paul, that he is showing advanced mental , emotional, and physical fatigue and thus this is the rationale for his desire to not run for congress contra to his assertion that he wishes to concentrate on his candidacy as he feels that makes him a more 'serious' candidate.

I see now its not baseless, we have your credentialed opinion to fall back upon.

So let's see... despite Ron Paul not facing a close congressional election in years, and despite his presidential runs being miserable failures, it makes sense for him to give up on running for congress in order to focus on running for president and we should take the excuse he gave seriously. Yeah, that's some really logical thinking on your part

I didn't realize he was THAT old. I kept thinking he was about 10 years younger. Maybe it would be a good idea to be his VP running mate.

Yeah, I don't know how fit he is, but that is really old.

And the President is a harsh job. Look at how it aged Bush/Clinton.

Hell, Obama looks older already and it hasn't been that long for him.

You truly are a ****. If you think Paul isn't truly comitted to the endeavor of running for president. Every candidate that goes into the race assumes they have legitimate shot at the presidency however deulded that prospect actually may be. Giving a built in excuse of being too old and tired to run for a lesser office is exactly the reason why one is skeptical of such a reason. All the more reason to believe the actual answer he gave considering he prides himself on principled stands.

No what you are mad at is that you attempted an inferred snipe at Paul's age and his passion due to his presumed waning energy levels, all without merit or evidence. When called on it you simply state as a matter of course that he is old or make reference to the fact that everyone else (besides himself) think him a joke candidate, thus he can't be serious in his actual response.

No ****, of course he's making a "comitment" to running for the presidency. This makes zero sense if he's reached the point where he wants to retire from congress, a less demanding job than being president. It isn't unreasonable to think a 76-year-old's decision to retire has something to do with his age. And if the last several elections cycles are any indication, it wouldn't take much effort to run for congress again so his claim that not running for congress will somehow help him run for president is kind of silly and likely an excuse.

I see, I didn't know you were some kind of psychiatric genius.

How dare somebody think a 76-year-old is retiring because of their age. Baseless accusations!
