Watch this new political ad run by allies of the Republican candidate in the special election in Los Angeles. The sitting Congressman just retired so there is an opening being filled this week via a special election. Like just about every race in America now PACs are no longer giving money directly to candidates and instead they're just creating a bunch of front groups because recent SCotUS rulings allow them to give unlimited donations to such groups but never disclose exactly who is paying for these ads. This means there is more money in politics then ever but citizens literally know nothing about who is paying for all these offensive ads.

The latest Republican ad to hit airwaves in California, it's literally all over TV in Southern California, shows black men as gangsters & thugs, while the woman running on the Democratic ticket is claimed to be a pole dancing stripper slut giving money and (it's implied) sex to black men who then buy guns to rob white men and rape white women. Naw, that couldn't be racist, right? the name of the ad is "Give us your cash, B!tch (so we can shoot up the streets)".

Their claim is pretty clear. Democrats are sluts for blacks, enabling them to be gun wielding criminals who then attack white people.

The money comes from putting it on most stations in the expensive southern California market. I think it is sufficiently low brow for it's intended audience.

Yeah, they repudiated the ad and then went on to use all the talking points in the ad. What do you want to bet Karl Rove's group is behind turnright.org? Of course, we'll likely never know because the Republicans block any attempt to make this tax exempt groups to actually disclose where their money comes from but that's the whole point of these groups. It let's ****bags put out ads like this and yet still claim they had nothing to do with it.

Let's all admit the obvious: Unlimited amounts of anonymous money is going to make elections even dirtier.

Let's forget that we later learned Bush's right hand man designed the ads and paid to put them on the air so it's perfectly obvious the Bush campaign was behind them from the start. It's the same thing happening here; just follow who benefits from ads like this and you'll figure out who is behind them.

BTW Ogie is one of those Republicans who likes to pretend he's not a Republican and instead is an "Independent".
