I've flown Aeromexico a couple of times (albeit business class) and it was very pleasant. But yeah, the rest are ****ty third world carriers. Air France?

They're just fundamentalist nutjobs who think they can annoy everyone because they're swimming in oil. Too bad a lot buy this, along with their oil.

In a just world their women would have been allowed to drive cars long ago while the only Jews in a jet fanatics of all kinds would experience were IAF pilots in F-16s.

Well, when we reach the state of Star Trek they will all be gone, so the future looks bright.

I'm confused. How is this distinct from "Delta won't fly you to Saudi Arabia if you don't have a visa to enter that country"? Stated that way, it sounds pretty reasonable..

KSA is a ****hole. ****ing hypocrites the lot of them.

And how come a country that produces 10 million barrels of oil each day (at a cost of 5-10 USD per barrel and an oil price of above 100 USD) and still have 75% of its population living in poverty is beyond me.

Because 75% of them didn't come up with the great idea to sell oil at a 2000% mark up.

Same in the US, you can't even transit the US without a valid visa.

Saudi Arabia is a huge embarrassment as an ally, much worse in many ways than countries we've gone to war with.

True...it is sometimes difficult to figure out which is the more progressive...Saudi Arabia or Iran.

I flied to Guatemala in 2009 with a stop in Miami, and when I left from Mexico, again through Miami, I was free to head to the beach for a few hours. I don't recall asking for a visa; just had to fill in a web form iirc (stating I would not be carrying bombs with me and more of that bullcrap).

Anyway, a piece of cake if you want to enter the US illegally. Silly Mexicans trying to cross deserts and facing militias

You are probably part of the Visa Waiver program, like we are in the UK.

Until last year, Canadians didn't even need a passport to go to the US...

Yeah, I think the whole of the EU is part of the Visa Waiver program, hence a Belgian has no problems.

Where do you get 75% from?

Neither the World Bank nor the CIA have poverty statistics for Saudi Arabia but the Saudi authorities claim the poverty rate is 22%.

And the poor ones are the foreign nationals. 31% of Saudi Arabia's population are foreigners.
