  • Coming soon to a theater near you: anti-abortion torture porn!

New Jersey state Senate candidate and ex-judge Kenneth Del Vecchio premiered his latest film The Life Zone, in association with his Justice For All Productions, on Saturday at the Hoboken Film Festival, which he co-founded and chairs. The movie, an anti-abortion twist on the Saw franchise, centers around three women "kidnapped from abortion clinics...being held for seven months -- until they all give birth." According to the press release, "The film, which appears to cut right down the middle, examining the topic from both sides, offers a powerful, anti-abortion climactic twist." This man is like the radical Republican Kubrick, except awful. Check out the trailer after the jump.
"You have all committed a terrible sin," the narrator growls. "You were all on the operating table ready to commit murder," a doctor adds.

Del Vecchio was previously made to resign from his role as a municipal court judge while promoting his movie O.B.A.M. Nude, in which a college student addicted to cocaine sells his soul to the devil to become a socialist leader. "Satan tutors him on political points," Del Vecchio said. "So he can trick the masses by a mantra of hope and change." Wink.

The rest of his filmography is equally impressive and totally terrifying.
Spoiler Warning - The "twist" is that two of the women become grateful for being kidnapped and forced to give birth, but the third does not. Then it's revealed that the women were all in Purgatory after dying in abortion clinics - the two who recanted their pro-choice ways go to heaven, the third goes to hell.

Were it not for Del Vecchio's previous films and political stances, I would have assumed that this film was created by a pro-choice group trying to make the pro-life movement look bad.

Nope, I think Catholics actually think this makes the pro-life movement look good.

It's usually evangelicals who kidnap pregnant women or bomb women's health clinics.
