I gave up a long time ago when one of the moderators at the time PM'd me and told me not to bother making any more threads because he was just going to delete them immediately. It's hardly the fault of the current batch of moderators that they banned me for dickgirling the place.

I think it was around 2004 or 2005. There was another forum available that was comparatively well-moderated, so I jumped ship. I came back after the Panda meltdown to see how things were getting on.
