The two-state solution IS THE ONE THAT EXISTS, and the people living in gaza and the west bank are part of partially-separate states and vote in different elections (except for the Gazans). The Arabs living in Israel proper DO NOT have their own state, but can vote in Israeli elections. I don't think that a two-state solution is likely to work long-term because the Palestinian state would have to be demilitarized and likely not contiguous. THUS, some other solution must be found. THAT IS ALL I SAID.

northern ireland is moving towards a peaceful future as part of the united kingdom. catholics and protestants are in government and the peace process is supported by the overwhelming majority of people.
