May I recommend for all cat lovers this book, (A Clowder Of Cats) which I purchased on Thursday:
Buy A Clowder of Cats First Edition by Holme, Bryan (ISBN: 9780525243816) from Amazon's Book Store. Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders.
It has some great illustrations and photographs, and interesting information about the great Northern European cat killing craze.
Hail mighty Bubastis:
Vive la liberte. Noor Inayat Khan, Dachau.
...patriotism is not enough. I must have no hatred or bitterness towards anyone. Edith Cavell, 1915

Cool video of a pet rat and a cat sharing a bowl of milk. The rat is a bit possessive though.

Happiness is the return of a cat:
'Why the fuss? I've only been gone for ten years'
WHEN seven-year-old Burmese cat Miko went missing in August 2002, his distraught owner Sue White spent several frantic weeks doing everything she could to find him.
Yet despite her best efforts, the errant feline remained elusive, forcing Mrs White to reluctantly accept that she would never see him again.Over the following decade the mum-of-one thought about Miko regularly, wondering what had happened to her beloved pet.
So imagine her great surprise when the red tom cat reappeared earlier this month, his coat shining with a lustre belying his advanced years – and all thanks to his microchip.
That's some night on the tiles...Vive la liberte. Noor Inayat Khan, Dachau.
