Nice graph Asher, but does it account for the value of free education and medic care
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

Canada has that, too. It's closer to the USA than it is Denmark...

IMO you've got extreme nanny states on the left (Denmark, Sweden) and extreme ghetto states on the right (Mexico, USA), with perfection in the middle (Canada).

            Are the new numbers different?

I know Canada's tax burden is less (GST, personal income, corporate taxes all fell)...

Don't see any problem in that - denmark, canucistan and yankystan are probably still on par.

We have had a hard core right wing gov the last 10 years here, and the swedes went the same way last year.

                  Obviously not that hard-core right-wing.

Denmark is so clearly not a nannystate.

                    Denmark bans Staffordshire terriers

Denmark has added 12 more dog breeds to a law banning dangerous dogs that already forbade people from owning pit bull terriers and tosa inus.

Under the law that became effective Thursday, the American Staffordshire terrier, Brazilian Fila, American bulldog and Dogo Argentino, among others, are forbidden.

Owners who had such dogs before March 17 can keep them but the animals must be muzzled and restrained by a leash. No one will be allowed to enter the country with these breeds of dogs. Violators could have their animals seized and put to sleep.

Grats HC. While going to TJ is definitely a big benefit getting such a job, still not a whole lot of HS kids are going to work at it, especially when they're probably on a free ride (one way or the other) to college. I'd guess your parents deserve much of the credit for teaching you the work ethic. That's probably the biggest advantage you have over Al, as his parents didn't seem to care and that's really ****ing hard to overcome for most people.

(This is of course ignoring the fact that Al is in reality a very successful life coach who is demonstrating to his students what types of self-defeating behaviors they should try to avoid.)

                                Congratulations HC.

You'll find that C# is quite similar to Java -- at least I did. If you know one well, the other should be very easy to pick up. I think you'll find the free Express versions of Visual Studio to suffice for your needs.
