  • Attention, German-speaking Polytubbies:

The translation of Galnemer's first novel, Embers, will be released later this year. Translated as Flammenzorn (Flame Wrath, according to Babelfish), it has a kick-ass cover, and many kick-ass reviews.

Buy it for the ones you love, or rather like quite a bit but not "love" love, or for random passers-by on the street. Basically, just buy the ****ing thing, so my good ladywife can get another contract to write more books.

So, what German city is going to replace Detroit in this translation? Dresden?

      Ba dum bum bum.

That's Detroit on the cover, so I think it remains.

People in Dresden are literate, it's unwise to write books about them.

Dresden with that cover art might have been considered in poor taste. Galnemer .

Must be a good book, they don't translate just about anything.

I only read books translated to 7 languages or more
