  • A Game of Drones

Personally I am all in favour of the way that the US administration has massively expanded the use of drone operations in Afghanistan.

Keeps troops out of harm's way and gives gamers a legitimate career in the US military!
Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

I thought this would be about people fawning over Games of Thrones.

Please don't go, the drones need you, they look up to you.

So when are the Brits going to join us in the 21st century and get serious about their own drones?

Just found this. The MoD doesn't understand how drones work apparently. It's not an autonomous killbot, it's just remote controlled. So when it gets shot down, you don't have a dead or captured pilot.

          Learn to read.

So go back to Saxon shield-walls then. They sure did Harold a heap of good against Norman archers.

There is one school of thought, they note, that suggests that for war to be moral, as opposed to just legal, "it must link the killing of enemies with an element of self-sacrifice, or at least risk to oneself".

War isn't about morality, it's about winning.
