The plot to the left is conditionally sold to a guy in his early 30s. His house is much smaller than mine and is supposed to be 7 feet shorter (which would've been phenomenal because that means my nook window would be completely unobstructed). But he's extended his garage 4 feet and his nook 2 feet to make them almost even.

Couldn't you just burn a regular log in a gas fireplace? I don't see why you can't have a fireplace that does both gas and wood.

You could probably have one that could handle both, but it should be build for that - burning wood in a gas fireplace would be like putting gasoline in a diesel car.

Talking about fire - with buildings that close, how fast will a fire spread or are there fire protection in the construction ?

It's a direct vent gas fireplace, there's no way you could safely burn wood logs in there.

There's strict building codes for it, and it's also why things like gypsum board (a fire retardant) is installed on all of the sides.

are the same people building the foundations and covering the roof with
shingles? How many people are involved in the construction?

this (as they have for everything), so the positions of wires in the walls are

I had mine calibrated a few days ago and it can get to 98.5 %. Don't know if up north you can do condensation boiler though.

Also, I would have expecte dmuch more trees?

Different people for each job. The framers only do framing, etc.
