I would love to have one.

    Nice.

The AA-12 is in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

        What a stupid gun.

A shotgun is a staple of home defense. They're cheap, easy to use, and easy to get a hold of. Even lame countries generally let people own them, and they allow your typical tub o' guts to engage in ruthless vigilantism. AA-12s are just plain silly though. Shotgun shells are too heavy and bulky to make an automatic shotgun a practical weapon.

              I did. It's a stupid, impractical gun.

I'm not surprised that you're too stupid to understand why.

I've seen the show before, and it doesn't say anything about shotgun shells suddenly being as light and easy to carry as rifle rounds. A soldier can carry a couple hundred rounds of 5.56 already loaded into magazines. How many of those AA-12 drums do you expect people to carry? Are folks supposed to stop fighting and reload the entire drum every other minute? The exploding shells aren't relevant. They're not heavy enough to meet the 400 gram minimum for exploding ammunition in wartime. Since they don't let us buy high explosive rounds as civilians, and since soldiers can't use them in war, they don't serve to make the gun any more practical.

A semi-auto sawed-off shotgun is perfectly sufficient to fill everyone standing in front of you in a hallway full of little lead pellets. There's absolutely no purpose to this gun.
If there is no sound in space, how come you can hear the lasers?

It's like the desert eagle, only more illegal and somehow even more useless.

I think the same about you, but I left out the stupid part.

most confrontations take place within 50ft. Now how would this weapon not be practical?
