You're just select a few images that focus on elites. I could probably select images of Arabs from Yemen or Oman and say they are a brown race.

In the end, it's pretty meaningless whether you or I consider Arabs to be white or not. Historians, scholars, and leaders differentiate the Arab world from Europe culturally, ethnically, and religiously for hundreds of years now.

I'm willing to bet that there are very few people in the U.S. who view Arabs on the same level as Swedes, Danes, or Germans for example.

Yemen and Oman are practically Ethiopia and Somalia in terms of latitude. Of course, they're dark as hell. The run of the mill Lebanese, Syrian, Iraqi, Jordanian, Palestinian, etc. are white.

Before the enlightenment and colonization, there was no concept of an encompassing white race or even black race. People were divided intro tribes and nations.

While, what constitutes being white has been expanded to include southern Europeans and Eastern Europeans because of a need to assimilate immigrants groups, Arabs still seem to be regarded as an "other" even today and its only been reinforced by the media and the wars in Iraq and Libya. Sorry dude, Arabs never had the status of being 'white' and still don't to the average person on the street. It may change in the future.

I just did. I'm saying that the average person isn't reading these 80 year old ethnographic studies by German racialists and to the average person, Arabs aren't considered white because they seem so culturally and religiously different.

What I'm getting at, and it's in response to people that Heraclitus likes like Steve Sailer, as well, to take it to a bigger point... race is completely a social construct, as evidenced by the fact that we can claim it's about skin complexion, yet people of the same complexion get differentiated over cultural/religious reasons...

So white is not a race in a physical sense... and white does not refer to skin complexion. It refers to Non-Spanish Western European Christians.
