You still intervene. No job is worth your soul.

      It's not your responsibility.

        This is what bothers me:

Other workers may also be disciplined.
Disciplined for what? If they intervened, they would have been disciplined. By not intervening, they are disciplined. What the hell were they supposed to do with a situation that had nothing to do with them?

              In London 3 days ago:

A father of four was gunned down in the street after an argument in a branch of McDonald's.
Raymond Mitchell, 34, was beaten and pistol whipped before being shot three times just yards from a 24-hour branch of the fast food restaurant in Brixton, South London on Sunday morning.

The man, Raymond Mitchell, 34, had stopped into the restaurant early Sunday to buy a hot chocolate. He was accompanied by a female companion with whom he had been partying the previous night.

When he saw the men going at it near the counter, he intervened, whereupon one of them, described as having several gold teeth, turned on him and shouted, “You are gonna die tonight, you are not gonna see the morning.” Witnesses report that the thug then placed a call on his cell phone, ordering the individual on the other end to “bring me that thing.”

Mitchell and his friend left the restaurant around 6:50 a.m. The man with the gold teeth—now in possession of the “thing,” a handgun—followed the couple out the door and forced them into an alley. He and an accomplice beat and pistol-whipped Mitchell before shooting him three times. Mitchell died of his wounds several hours later.

As for the tranny, she's a troublemaker:

The website The Smoking Gun reports that Polis, "appears identical to Christopher Lee Polis, whose rap sheet includes convictions for disorderly conduct, property destruction, and prostitution, according to court records."

A ****head who realizes it's a lawsuit waiting to happen and McDonald's Corporation is a deep pocket. Simple enough really.
                    Unbelievable!

gribbler, I can speak to you as a former McDonalds employee and a manager at Burger King and Checkers, that an employee breaking up a fight will almost certainly be terminated, especially if, as you can expect, they need to be physical to break up the fight.

I was googling to see if there were any incidents where someone went to the media about termination for breaking up a fight but only saw forum discussions on this topic but saw comments from McDonalds employees describing training videos which specifically say to not get involved in third-party altercations. I don't recall any such videos, myself, though.

Well that's great. If anyone ever assaults me in a McDonald's I can rest easy knowing that no one will do anything about it. That really makes me want to eat at McDonald's.

Let's imagine if a 20-year old male employee intervened against the 14-year old and 18-year old girls. He would have to get very physical to contain two girls, one of whom is juvenile...

You want to bet the family of the 14-year old would sue McDonalds?

This was reported on the 18th... a bus driver in Missouri is being investigated for breaking up a fight between students:

Some parents say a local school bus driver went too far in restraining an intermediate school student during a fight on a bus, and now the district and bus company are each investigating the incident, which was caught on camera.

Officials with the Raymore-Peculiar School District are investigating the alleged assault, which happened last week on a school bus that was carrying fifth and sixth graders at Eagle Glen Intermediate School.

Michele Donahoe, a spokeswoman for the district, said what you see in the video is not the full story. She said at least two students were fighting and the bus driver went towards the back of the bus to tell the students to sit back down.

Anyway, the whole incident looks completely different from a different perspective...

An adult male with likely emotional issues and a history of prostitution and other crimes who admits to being intoxicated at the time of the incident enters a woman's restroom with a 14 year old girl inside. There's an unwitnessed altercation which spills out into the restaurant.

                              Who's the real criminal here?

                                Seriously. ****ing animals?

What do you tell your 14 year old daughter to do if an intoxicated man walks into the restroom she's using? Something happened in there and the camera only caught the (possibly justified) retaliation or defense.
