Drakepac Shakur speaks truth. It's a combo of parasitical baby boomers and unserious snark filled cynicism that manifests itself in attempts to paint opposiition as foes of youth and elderly. Those two being the major sources of the problem.

No he speaks truth. There is a stick your head in the sand mentality. Boomers want it all be damnded with the consequences. Likewise polls like this one underscore how it is easier to be unserious about the situation in favor of casting opponents as kid and elderly haters.

          Is that a unique trait?

Baby boomers didn't put Obama in office. That was done by ****heads like Tupac Manure.

                1. Obama is a Baby Boomer.

                2. It isn't just Obama's fault, you racist wingnut. Both parties are guilty of pandering to selfish Boomers.

It IS Obama's fault that we are in the process of throwing our collective federal candy jar into overdrive mode.

The wealthy are overtaxed because they are so many exemptions they can take advantage of?

The middle-class also benefits greatly from tax exemptions and credits.

                            Yes. Prescription drug benefit.

And he was better. The tax cuts were well-designed economically, no one thinks that the war in afghanistan was a bad idea to initially get into (or no one opposed it until the last year or so), and the war in Iraq is something that can be debated ad infinitum. The healthcare law is pretty unambiguously ****ing awful.

Regardless, Obama's contribution to the debt in just two years is, as I recall, as much as all 8 years of Bush's presidency.

Only in comparison to the spending habits of Obama would Gee Dub's fiscal behavior come out rosy. In general though I would agree that he was a poor fiscal steward who never saw he didn't like.

Difference is that Obama spent money to try to pull us out of a recession, while Bush spent money that put us in one.
