Giuliani has WAY too much baggage to be elected. (and I never really liked him) Ditto for Newt.

I'm not a big fan of Romney, but at least he's more sane then many on that list.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

Romney would be nice, from the Republican camp (I think, although I probably missed something).

            Please no Trump/Palin/Newt/Giuliani.

I don't want to be forced to vote Democrat to try to keep a Republican out of office.

              @ Rah

Actually its a common discrediting tactic dating back years. When the likes of milk toast Romney is considered a whack job the smear machine is in full swing.

Giuliani was a terrible mayor who just has some good press from being mayor when 9/11 happened. He even managed to abuse his power as mayor, I would be scared if he was US president.

Why he would even be considered for the presidency is beyond me.

Newt has shown himself to be very much the slimy politician and is currently an unsuccessful slimy politician. Can't you at least pick a successful slimy politician?

Haven't both had fidelity type issues which wouldn't look good for the "family values" party.

Yeah but Giuliani isn't the one moralizing like Gingrich is.

McCain had a history, too, but that didn't matter with the nomination.

That's funny, I was under the impression he also fixed a lot of the crime and corruption problems...

Some crime decreased a lot, and he definitely took credit for it.

There was a fair amount of corruption and abuse of power which was directly related to him.

If Rudy Giuliani runs for the GOP presidential nomination in 2008, we're going to hear a lot of talk about how great a job he did fighting crime in New York City. The ever-compliant Chris Matthews recently touted Giuliani's record...

Can he really stand the scrutiny Hillary Clinton has endured over the last two decades? We may find out soon.

This Giuliani scandal keeps getting better and better. First Politico found that when Rudy Giuliani was mayor of New York,...

Note a lot of these are from 2007. When they last thought about him running. It was a terrible idea then, nothing has changed...

Romney is a true republican: anti-abortion, pro-baby eating.

She has no chance of winning, and neither does Trump. That's just the liberal press doing its usual wishful thinking.
