It all started yesterday. I have been touring China with a group of churchmembers from "Our Lady of Perpetual Responsibility". It's hot here and I stopped briefly to sit and wash my sandal shod feet in what turned out to be a buddist holy fountain. A number of the locals seemed incensed at what I was doing and were jabbering at me in their quaint but totally unintelligible fashion. Some even seemed on the verge of violence. When I looked up, my party had disappeared into the masses of Chinese and visitors on their way to the festival..............................

Bah, I went traipsing through a mosque with my muddy shoes on in Singapore that I think may have been what caused 9/11. But in my defense, they should make their mosques look less like hotels.
