Half-siblings, dude. All have different moms, and their moms have different races. I remember at least one of the Sand Snakes had a black mother, for instance.

The LAST OF US Movie Could Star Arya Stark

Of the slew of video game-inspired films coming out way in the next few years, there are few that we’re looking forward to more than The Last of Us. Speaking at the Screen Gems panel at this year’s Comic-Con, writer Neil Druckmann revealed that, while his initial reaction to making a The Last of Us film was negative, he was enticed by the idea of having complete control over who will direct and who will be cast. Sam Raimi, the producer of the film adaptation, also joined Druckmann on the panel when they made an announcement that’s more exciting than finding materials to make a shiv on Grounded mode.

When one of the finest video games in recent memory finally becomes a film, it could star Games of Thrones‘ Arya Stark, better known to us non-Westerosi citizens as actress Maisie Williams. While no contracts have been signed by either party, Druckmann and the Last of Us team had a promising meeting with Williams. As fans of both the HBO series and the game, we think she’d be fantastic. Sony even tweeted out a mock-up of a poster to whet our collective appetites:

Let’s hope that when the movie eventually comes out, the emotional impact infecting the survival horror game can shine through in a typical two-hour run time.

          Spoiler:
It comes right after Arianne tries to smuggle Myrcella out and crown her Queen. I've heard that maybe Trystane is a combo if Arianne AND Quentyn though - Trystane as betrothed to Myrcella could try be Queenmaker and then when failing, be sent by Doran to try to marry Dany, a la Quentyn. I like the later part of that - as the person who dies trying to free the dragons will be cooler than Quentyn ever was... but when the first chapter released of Winds of Winter is an Arianne POV, it is a total WTF. Also considering all of the misogyny complaints the show has had due to playing up the rape far more than the books, Arianne is a female badass protagonist who is HEIR to Dorne, which would have helped with that a bit

Leaving that for Season 6? I mean at least ONE part of it seems incredibly important.

Did you read what you quoted because it said half sisters?

              • They'd better have Victarion god damnit he is the best thing in ADWD.
                Spoiler:
but I think Daaaaario capturing the ships is supposed to obviate the need for him to show up

                • Ugh. That would be horrible especially since we still don't even know how the Victarian thing ends up in the books.

                  • It is like the show writers want to take out all the bad-ass parts of the book...

                    Spoiler:
Dragon Horn!!! They already got rid of Wall falling Horn!

I saw this tweet that said if they take out Arianne, the show has officially become "fan fiction"

                    • I can't see why they would remove Arianne. She is a ~strong independent woman~ (sort of) who has lots of sex. That's like 24K gold to HBO.

I did, but it doesn't change the fact that, like always, you are wrong.

I look nothing like my half-siblings.

I don't disagree with you at all, but the show has to have an economy of characters, especially halfway through its run. Say goodbye to

                            • The three heads of the dragon (even if if he turns out to be a fake dragon as one of the rumors has it) is kind of a key part. I don't think they could cut him out.

                              • He's not one of the three heads.

                                Spoiler:
I'm wagering they're Bran, Jon, and Dany. Less certain about the former than the latter two.
