Yeah I do agree the costuming in this show is pretty great. They figured out what details needed to be kept from the books and the dumb **** that needed to be left out (big golden sculpted lions on Tywin's shoulders, everybody's helmet having an animal soldered to it, that sort of thing)

Besides, the Night's Watch stuff is mostly dull anyways. Every once in a while it gets interesting.
The King's Landing stuff is generally the best stuff, followed by the stuff that happens in the Riverlands and the Vale. Winterfell is ok as well whenever someone is in it. Also Dorne is pretty cool... and the Reach - Hell, everything Winterfell and below is interesting (FTR, the torture of Theon was only alluded to in the books and not shown over and over until it got super boring as in the show... and besides, I think the Dreadfort is slightly north of Winterfell, so it'd fit my map).“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. I like the Night's Watch in the show a lot, and it's pretty interesting in the books too. Especially since
Spoiler:Jon is doing what he's supposed to and what the readers want him to do, whereas Dany just ****s around in Meereen for forever and ever, after basically everyone tells her "Hizdahr is obviously in charge of the sons of the harpy, the Shavepate is up to no good, no don't walk among the sick people, get the **** out Jesus Christ" but Jon Snow is protecting the Wall from the Others.

Spoiler:Doing what you are supposed to doesn't make it all that interesting. I mean that's why Kevan Lannister was killed - Cersei makes KL much more interesting
Snow's sojourn with the Wildlings is cool and the Battle for the Wall is great, but then, its basically doing not much - Snow being elected Lord Commander is utterly ridiculous, but its something that we just have to go with“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
