It's hard to remember back to the first book and sometimes the show and the books blur together in my mind.

    • I'm just disappointed Anne Boleyn didn't slip her hand under Prince Kiddywink's duvet and then gasp "Valerian steel!".

          • Was Anne Boleyn really a power digging seductress? History seems to paint her the other way.

              • Chinese state controlled TV has been having trouble keeping viewers as people have been switching to internet based streaming websites which allow them to bypass official state censorship but the state controlled media is making a bold new statement about how it wants more interesting programming by... Showing a dubbed version of Game of Thrones. While this is a bold move out of character for the state run television station people are still complaining that too much was edited out and the government censors have changed too much of the dialogue to suit "socialist values".

That can--and undoubtedly WILL--still happen. It will probably be the next-to-last scene in the season finale.

                        Spoiler:
Lysa mentions it to Littlefinger halfway through the episode

I'm leaving it in spoilers because I don't think show only people recognize the significance yet, thank god.

                        edit: specifically

                        Spoiler:
she mentions that she killed Jon Arryn

                        • Okay I just watched that scene again. **** this. The moment is just ****ing ruined. Judging by a liveposting thread on another forum nobody seems to have gotten the upshot, and I'm not sure if it's for the worse or for the better for when it inevitably comes back in episode 10. They just treated it as

                          Spoiler:
Oh, ho ho ho, another conspiracy! Instead of seeing that it is the thing that ties it all together and shows that Littlefinger was the one who is behind everything. He brought Ned south by having Jon Arryn killed, then got Catelyn Stark to seize Tyrion Lannister, then got Joffrey to execute Ned Stark. He started the whole war that's consumed most of the plot from the beginning in order to maneuver himself into controlling the titleholders for the liege seats of three of the seven (actually eight) kingdoms.

                          On a brighter note,

                          Spoiler:
I think the Jojen Paste theory is finally dead.

Didn't Jojen say he knew he was going to die but it wouldn't happen until he got back home? Meaning back to the bog in the neck where the Crannogmen live.
