So I think my monitor died on my desktop computer. I built this computer 8 months ago so I could do all my IT related work on it like learning windows 7, programming, etc. My old computer was 5 years old so it was becoming almost useless. I have a company laptop now with a core i7 and 4 gigs of ram so it's actually more powerful than my desktop computer. I'm thinking about getting an external harddrive to house my personal files and stuff and getting a western digital media player to play stuff on the TV and using the laptop for its hardware. Then I'll sell my desktop computer since I have no real use for it at this point. Thoughts on this?
