  • How do you like rabbit cooked?

With Easter coming up I need to put out the rabbit traps.

How would you cook a cute fluffy bunny rabbit?

I've honestly never cooked a rabbit but I imagine braising would be good since it's a very lean meat.

        Rats are also rodents

EDIT: Wait. No. Rabbits are not rodents. Thanks wikipedia!

Rat actually tastes pretty good when grilled on a wood fire.

You know what? It surprises me none at all that you would say this. I mean, ZERO. Nada. Zip.

Make sure you chop it up.

The legs are tough and need a lot of cooking, stewing is good. The loins are really tender and can be cooked quickly.

The best thing I've ever eaten was Tandoori Rabbit at Benares with Tamarind sauce. Couldn't tell you what spices were on the rabbit though!

Bunny au vin with kalamata olives is pretty good.

                              So is bunny vindaloo.

The thing is, if they're wild they're going to be stringy, so stew-type dishes are best.
