    Let down ending.
    I don't need a drug.

Harumph. All the smartest Poms migrate here. Of course, this lowers the average IQ of both countries.

You haven't migrated therefore you are not a smart Pom.

The hero seemed to be a deadbeat who a drug that transformed him into an egotistical materialistic wanker. A very unlikeable hero who really should have been thrown under a bus. He took a drug that would make him super-intelligent but would kill him when he stopped taking it. So he figured out how to get by without the drug BUT all the others who took the drug died from withdrawal. It seemed like some teenybopper fantasy world.

BTW It was a bad ending. Should have thrown him off the Empire State Building, head first.

Verdict: better than vomiting all over yourself

PS Can anyone review Source Code please? It starts at my local cinema next week but I'm wondering if I should bother. Sounds corny.
You will either love it or hate it. combination of Momento and Groundhog day. This guy goes back in time ( sort of ) last eight minutes of a train that has been blown up to find the bomber. over and over again till he gets it right. Not much action but the suspense is hard. Good acting, interesting ending.

Although I would like to have a pill to make smart, I didn't like the movie, the acting, the storyline or anything. It wasn't that bad. at least the idea of walking out didn't occur to me.

                  Suckerpunch

The first part of the movie is rather dull but livens up when the senseless mayhem starts. A bunch of insane hookers blowing up, shooting everything in site, swordfighting and wrecking the landscape is an excellent concept for a movie. The execution of this excellent concept was stuffed up with the consequence that one isn't quite sure whether to laugh at the sheer ridiculousness of this movie or cringe. I laughed at it. It is good to laugh.

Scantily clad chicky babes bouncing about the screen is good. Would have bean better if those Hollywood types had though to invest a few dollars designing combat bikinis. The splosions, gunfoighting and general mayhem were good but a bit over the top in some ways.

No need to worry about the storyline. The director seemed to making some pathetic attempt to inject some sort of flosiphy into the film. The attempt, if any, was so pathetic I'm not sure there was any such attempt.

I actually enjoyed the movie but there should have been lots more senseless mayhem and scantier clothes.

I am blessed with bad taste.

                  Verdict
