Yeah, people in Korea say the same thing. Dogs bred for meat have been specially bred to maximize flavor, tenderness, and fat marbling for hundreds of years plus they control what the dog eats so you don't get the gamey taste you usually get with carnivores & omnivores. Heck, even the run of the mill western farm pig has a highly controlled vegetarian diet unless they get lucky and catch something on their own.

Losing armies often had to resort to eating their horses.

Countries that lose a lot tend to consume horses.

Therefore, eating horses is for losers.

That, and the Queen rides one.

Genghis Khan disagrees with you. He rode horses, he ate horses, he got more poon that you or I will ever get and he tended to win a lot.

I think it's some ridiculous American aversion, like organ meats. There's nothing wrong with eating horses, dogs, cats or chimpanzees.

Except presumably in those Western countries like Belgium and France where horse is eaten, and the sentmental nonsense about certain animals is sensibly disregarded. Protein is protein... as the Donner party proved.
