    • well I believe at that time UK toghether with the Netherlands had the longest living expectancy in the world... so comparing to the rest of them the rich in the UK were paying the poor to be be well fed and healthy for generation of greater profits...

      once the rest of the world caught up to that trick in the 20th century, British domination soon faltered

        do I need to add that those houses are better built than the contemporary ones
