For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

Bahrain's a close ally, we have bases there, and Saudi Arabia wants the regime to stay in power. Not a chance.

What does Star Trek have to do with Essex?

Your point is that our foreign policy is based on our perceived national interest, and not on some sort of ethical standard? Welcome to reality. I don't agree with everything my government does, but I'd much rather they base policy on our interests than on some silly sense of justice.

I was trying to demonstrate the accent. It's hard to do, and I don't plan to start writing in the phonetic alphabet. That would somewhat ruin the joke

You may wish to tell this to Alby, HC, Lonestar, etc who seem to think the US military is just out there to make the world a better place.
"The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

I thought Lonestar thought it was out there so that Euro's would come begging for help from the US?

                              Exactly.

Just as long as you Yanks freely admit that you're happy ****ing up the rest of the world for your own personal benefit instead of pretending otherwise - that's all I'm asking really.
