  • Anyone who uses Internet Explorer should be punched in the face.

Although it might seems harsh to punch a ******.

They deserve it for making web developers lives hell. If we can stop them using it then we can stop supporting it. They are cruel, thoughtless, selfish, idiots.

If you are reading this on IE right now....

Actually, I'll just wait for you to catch up loading, everyone else has already moved on to the next thread already.

    Has it finally loaded?

Good, now punch yourself in the face and download a better browser right now.

    IE9 is decent, no?

I have an idea: if possible, make Apolyton inaccessible on IE. **** them.

        I'm even slower than IE

You'll have to wait to punch me in the face

I do agree though that the world would be a better place without IE.

I'm thrilled MS is making IE9 an "important" update this month. Download it, *****es! Lightyears ahead of IE8.

There are still a few rare sites where I am not able to view or use their resources unless I open them with IE. But I do prefer using Firefox.

It's a trap. MS just wants us to start using their browser again so they can unleash more non-standard extensions upon us in the future.

That's not very effective with their current marketshare.

Exactly, which is why they have to "play nice" until they can fool us into giving them market share. Thus the bait and switch trap... don't fall for it. Don't give IE market share!

I am reading this via Internet Explorer. Can I be excused from punching myself in the face as a conscietious objector to violence?

Not so long ago I used MSIE just to annoy all those MSIE haters and 'go to firefox' pushers. Just only for that reason. But well, now I'm on Firefox anyhow I'm sorry, I couldn't stand against the masses any longer

The masses have moved to Chrome and Chrome pushing, so you're still safe

Chrome is much better than Firefox.
