    Are Canadians driving recklessly fast relative to Americans?

    I've noticed that Canadians invariably drive faster than 110 on their highways, while Americans are much more conservative drivers, usually going about 70.

    I am starting this thread because I think it's important to gather people's input. All opinions are equally valid here.

    Depends which ethnicity you're talking about.

      Let's assume that both drivers have similar cars, ethnicities and driving abilities (in decreasing order of importance, of course). Shouldn't the Canadian be forced to drive at 70 like the American?

        America has stuff in it that a person could run into. Canada doesn't have stuff.

                Alaska doesn't really exist. It was invented as part of an unsuccessful practical joke whereby Sarah Palin would become president.
