  • Gonna be in Brussels for some EU stuff in April

Should be around for the evening of the 12th of April, possibly the 13th as well.

Anyone fancy a Euro poly meet? Or at least point me in the right direction of some decent eating, drinking and entertainment establishments...

I've been before, so kinda know my way around.
Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

There is a very nice tapas bar near La Bourse. Not the one on the Av Anspach but in one of the small streets nearby. Would need to look up the name of the place though. Le Bison is a nice place to get a drink also very close.

Well, my favourite Belgian city is Ghent, but beggars can't be choosers.

I live in downtown Brussels. What exactly are you looking for?
If you're heading to the city centre then the Sainte Catherine area is the place to be imo:

                      Grotere kaart weergeven

If you're looking for a real Belgian café (we call it 'brown' pubs) near the Bourse, check out 'Le Coq', the 'Archipel' (near the delhaize and GB supermarkets), the 'Merlo', 'Au Laboureur', the 'Monk', 'Kafka' etc. Maybe you'll fancy the Bizon, but it's more of a late night bar for me.

You can contact me if you want, I can show you around. On the condition that you're not one of those rowdy bald-headed UK hooligans drinking themselves K.O. before 12 o'clock

What will you be doing in Brussels with regards to EU stuff btw?

That's exactly the sort of thing I'm looking for. I don't think I made it as far as the Sainte Catherine area from looking at the map either.
