If you like a bit of post-Cold War espionage/nuclear paranoia thriller mixed in with your contemporary fantasy novels (which have absolutely **** all to do with vampires, demons, werewolves, etc.), then you'll love this book.
Completely honest, no bias assessment: this is not my favorite book of hers, simply because I had the least to do with it, it has nothing to do with Detroit or anything like that. That said, while it isn't my personal favorite, it is definitely her best book thus far.
