For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

Probably but I shall miss the "feel" of reading a book the Nook fails to provide though.Originally posted by Imran Siddiqui View PostRegardless, e-readers are where its at.I make no bones about my moral support for [terrorist] organizations. - chegitz guevara

Books. Physical, holdable, foldable, paper-by-God BOOKS.

While I appreciate the advantages of ebooks, I love my 'real' books and would never want them to dissappear. There's something warming about shelves and shelves and shelves of books.

Are you "off the grid" as well?
For certain kind of book, where you need to go back and forth often (reference, Bible, etc) e-books don't work so well, yet. But for novels and whatnot, it's far superior.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Indeed those are great, but on a personal anecdote, far easier to have a physical Bible than an electronic one (well except if you are just reading through without going through footnotes or going back and forth to look at any references).“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

And it was a big hubbub and all sorts of controversy - basically for Amazon selling a book it had no right to sell. I don't really see the big deal.Originally posted by DinoDoc View Post
Seriously.. it's like saying you'll never buy an mp3 because you don't trust Apple or Amazon who sells them to you.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another.
