That'll both initiate hyper inflation AND it will cause many people to spend their savings, which will save the economy. (yeah, sure!)

It may come with 'some' unforeseen disadvantages, but who cares?

Bottom line: I voted "my own crazy plan"
I had hyperinflation in the late 80s

we solved it by pegging our currency to the dollar

pegging our currency to the dollar created another crisis that exploded in 2001-2002

to me it looks like a 0 deficit approach, is what works best. And I mean having both budget and trade surpluses. I know It can't work since it is impossible for all countries to have trade surpluses. Actually we are all benefiting from the huge trade deficit of the yanks.

If the trust funds run out of money then I'm guessing the programs will go into debt, adding trillions to the overall government debt. So we definitely need to stop these insanely low tax rates.

The soldiers can get real jobs that meaningfully contribute to the economy and spend their money on the home soil, stimulating the local economy.

The military industrial complex *******s can find new jobs in new sectors. There's surprisingly few people employed by them given the amount of money spent on them.

                What about cuts in NASA?
Do we really need to go back to the moon or mars?
Thats a lot of money NASA spends.

                  NASA budget = $19 billion
                  Defense budget = $1,060 - $1,449 billion

The Energy Department's defense-related spending is even greater than NASA's budget.

And $3.4-$8.5B of NASA's $19B budget is defense-related (satellites, etc).

I had no idea the defense budget was that bad.

Unemployment for veterans is higher than the national average so that is quite unlikely.

what financial problems? we all know that the solution to debt is....more debt, oh and printing money to inflate that debt away.
