See Mike has it there. Everyone gets insulted by Top Gear...it just so happens that it is Mexico's turn.

This really was more relentless and out of order than normal.

        Good blog post from Kryten:

Yeah, I did watch it, it was rather harsh. And to be fair they were a long way off the mark with their insults. I found my Mexican colleagues very hard working, cool guys. And proper Mexican food is awesome, although tough if you want to keep a slim waistline

Actually I was talking to a Mexican friend about this and he thinks it is a massive overreaction...because he's seen Top Gear do this with everyone and no one is safe.

They are very unselfish and are very hard workers.

That is a funny clip tho.

Everyone who watches South Park knows how hard-working, productive and effective Mexican workers are.

I spent 6 months in Mexico City and I loved the people and the place. I would like to return to Mexico again in the near future, do a full tour of the country (although maybe not the Northern bit just yet )

Yeah, all that part in the north with all the gun violence and people speaking english is outright scary

It's also funny that Americans are terrified of Mexico City. I've never found it a particularly scary place providing you exercise a bit of common sense. It has lower crime rates than most major US cities too

The danger is mostly in El Norte. The big smoke is fairly alright.

Yeah, the pollution is difficult. There isn't much wind and it is in a valley of the former Lake Texcoco so it does tend to stay there. And the altitude is a bit of a nightmare at first (2300m above sea level).

                                South America as well.
