  • A message on my building's bulletin board.

That is, an actual bulletin board on the first floor of my apartment building. Along with notices about how people parked in reserved spots will be towed even during "inclimit" weather and happy new year wishes from the management, there was a new message on the board this morning printed out on a plain 8.5x11 inch piece of white paper with no letterhead of any sort.

    It said:

    Dear Pot-Smoking Neighbor,

Please open a window when you smoke up. Normally I wouldn't mind being an innocent victim but I have two children and I don't think it would be healthy for them to be inhaling pot smoke all day.

    Thanks!!

And then there's a hand-written note in the bottom corner of the letter that reads, "Yeah! The whole building stinks!"

Now, I have virtually no sense of smell, so I had no idea anyone was smoking up in our apartment building. My only reaction to this is amusement.

Someone should put up a note saying "Can I have some please?"

Some people just love to be hyper sensitive. Just because you can smell the smoke doesn't mean that you're inhaling a dangerous amount of it. It's like saying that you smell apple pie and now you're stuffed and can't eat any more.

The smell can be enough to massively annoy many people, even if it's no health risk.

          Thanks

I'd love one of those noticeboards

I was once at a hotel in Turkey that had a big white sign saying "PLEASE USE PURPLE TAP TO CLEAN YOUR ANUS. THANK YOU". I never found the purple tap, but I did take a mental note not to drink from it if I did find it.

Well this thread went down the drain pretty quickly.

                          Yep.

The cooking was the worst, followed by cigarette smoke. I didn't so much mine the MJ smoke.

Better to just buy your own pot, much more efficient.

imagine going to your neighbour every time to borrow pot, when you want to cook... nightmare.
