  • What is the purpose of Gap and why isn't illegal already?

Seriously, the clothes suck, and only worn by complete ****ing douchebags, and the commercials make me want to stab people in the neck.

Fine, you win the parody-thread battle. For now.

But yes, Gap commercials are insipid, or were the last time I saw one about six months ago (I don't watch TV). Old Navy's are far worse, though.

Indeed. Those mannequins fill me with a murderous rage usually reserved for watching the Lions blow it again or Sarah Palin trying to speak a complete sentence.

Did you know WaPo columnist Dana Milbank started a campaign to not pay attention to, or mention, Palin for the entire month of February?

Bless his heart. Knowing the American political press corps, that'll last all of 12 hours.

I miss the 70s GAP commercials.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

Yeah, I know. Banana Republic too, but I don't remember any of their ads.

Guynemer, there's a problem if a mere commercial can put you into a rage. You need to learn to not let things bother you.

Huh? How does that effect the legitimacy of my statement that mere commercials shouldn't bother Guynemer so much? And even if I was a kettle, wouldn't that mean I would know first-hand that it is bad to let things like this bother you?

Guy appears to have a lot of pent-up rage which is understandable from 1) being a pediatrician, 2) being a Detroit Lion's and Michigan fan, and 3) living in Ohio (Cleveland, maybe?)

                            Still, the rage is unhealthy.

Jeez, relax. You need to learn to not let things bother you.
