                  Even that could be a stretch. There are plenty in the galaxy we haven't seen yet I think. In fact, I'm pretty sure we haven't seen most of the stars in the galaxy.

                          That's true, but the two factors to magnitude are distance and brightness. The galaxy is pretty big, if there were a large star on the opposite side of the galaxy would we be able to see it? I don't know.
