I mean really? Why isn't this a cut and dry thing?

What does it do for you? Does it make your dick hard when you lay in ambush somewhere and shoot a deer with your $1000 high-powered rifle? Oh, such an exciting 'sport'

I'm a city boy. Hunting is beyond my comprehension. Why don't you enlighten me as to what makes it so appealing?

Maybe if you did it with a hand-made stone-tipped spear then I could get it. I don't understand it in its present form.

Maybe if we did it with a pneumatic hammer while they're chained in place.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

Well, it is something that you must experince first hand.
Its like a drug, you can't explain to other till they have shared the same experince.
            sorry
            ever been fishing?

Drive around a rural area sometime, especially in the afternoon or evening. You may notice these large, brownish creatures whisking their cute white tails, cavorting in the meadows and frolicking in a wonderfully Disney way. They're very frolicsome creatures. Sometimes, they get so frolicsome, they frolic right out onto the road in front of your car, generally totaling the vehicle even if they don't injure you! You see, since wolves aren't so common these days, the deer tend live a very long time and make lots and lots of cute little deer babies, who frolic and make more babies, who hop in front of your car without a care when they're not devouring your garden or spreading disease.

And that's why I approve of keeping hunting legal. I don't care how their heads look on a wall, deer need to die just to keep us from buying new cars every three months. Also, venison is kinda yummy.

                BTW
Even with hight tech gear the prey still has the advantage.
There sence of smell and kean eyesight with hearing gives them a great advantage.

Sounds like a problem for you country boys. Doesn't bother me one bit.

I also doubt the average hunter is really worried about keeping the numbers of deer down. Even if the numbers were lower, they would still be hunting. Doc is all talking about it feels like a high and what not.

Elok speaks truth. I am sure you feel that it does not impact you, however there are known affects beyond that of automotive accidents. There is a known relationship of high flue rates when deer populations are prohibitively high. (Whether this is a causal effect or not is unknown). There are reduced crop yields, (even thought US farmers by and large overproduce so the impact to urbanites is likely exceedinlgy small) Course if one only considers the Elok given example, there are likely impacts to insurance rates by and large.

Be imaginitive there is always a degree of connectiveness if one simply stretch ones mind.

His attempt at sexual innuendo and attribution of malign motive in the OP would indicate a lack of sincerity.

Feel free to outlaw all those hobo pigeon-hunters you see in Philly, then.

Y'know, I don't think the average Christmas shopper is worried about stimulating the economy either.
