I'm so glad you have these rates handy. What are they?

Okay Eyedea doesn't count because who the **** is he? He didn't have a record deal or anything and i never heard of him til you posted his name. Eminem didn't do cocaine, as far as I know, only prescription pills.

The point is there have been so many rockers who have had hard drug issues, overdoses, and rehab appearances but very few rappers have had such problems.

        That is just a fact.

          You familiar with methadone?

Come on...that's not in the same league as marijuana.

It's not a fact because you've not substantiated it.

Further still, rappers have a nasty habit of dying or being incarcerated for murder, assault, gun charges, etc before they can ever get a chance to overdose like a normal musician.

He was an amazing talent. The next Tupac.

It's a shame you don't know your genre.

Rappers don't take Cocaine!? WTF?! Also they are unusually **** at getting caught.

This is either the worst troll ever or Al B is an idiot. From google, a quick search gives us:

Rappers who've been arrested for Cocaine posession

Snoop Dogg (multiple times, dealing and posession)
                      Lil Wayne
DMX (multiple times cocaine and crack)
Coolio (trying to take crack on an aeroplane)
                      ODB (crack, died)
TI (no idea who TI is)
Kid Cudi (no idea who this guy is either)
                      Buju Banton
Wiz Khalifa (again, no idea who he is)

And I'm not including anyone where the possession was related to dealing, although I'd assume that people like Jay-Z and the NWA guys who made their money dealing at least tried something.

There was a spate of heroin in the Seattle scene in the 90s, but I'm not sure it's that widespread throughout rock history. And only a very certain subset of rock anyway.

actually i think it's quite a good troll, people have now been reduced to listing rappers who've used drugs and albert is pointing out that rock musicians also use drugs and maybe, more than rappers. next up, i think we should make a listen of musicians who breath air and compare it by genre.

Rappers don't use hard drugs must be one of the most ridiculous statements ever made here. Well done Asher for eliciting it.

RAP? Yes, that's correct! How did you guess?
Man, that must be really embarrassing for the poor musician. The gun charges are bad enough but imagine what it must feel like for a musician to be associated with rap
