Not that I disagree about the efficacy of the embargo, but how do you reconcile the island being flooded with Euro's and their money for decades and the survival of the regime?

Cuba gets only 2 million tourists per year, it is less people than what CancĂșn alone gets in Mexico, there is no reason why Cuba couldn't more than double the number of tourists they get.

600.000 canadadians visit Cuba every year and Canada has a population than is less than 15% of the population of the USA

One thing to note is that the reason so many Canadians visit is because it is ****ing cheap compared to other similar quality Caribbean resorts. Both the number of people visiting and prices would go up significantly if unfettered American tourism was allowed.
