I was annoyed. They don't take reservations and told me it would be a15 minute wait. An hour later I spoke to the manager because I was still waiting. Got my food and drink comped

There's a place two blocks from me that's extremely popular for breakfast that routinely has 45-60 minute waits (it has like 10-12 tables total). I don't care how good the food is, how inexpensive it is. I am not going to wait an hour for breakfast.

The only places worth going that don't take reservations are places that can get you food in less than 5-7 minutes. Lucky you living in NYC.
