I think they should have kept their zombie guy (the guy left at the tree).

Well today AMC announced via press release that they have officially picked up The Killing as a new original series slated to premiere sometime in 2011. An adaptation of the Danish TV series Forbrydelsen, the story centers on the murder of a young girl and the subsequent police investigation through the perspective of the detectives, the grieving family, and the suspects.

I know nothing of the books so it is all fresh to me.
The ending with Andrea was most cool. Interesting pets."I have never killed a man, but I have read many obituaries with great pleasure." - Clarence Darrow

Heh, I meant "in the books" as in it is finished, didn't mean to actually reference the comics.
But yea, the hooded lady with the sword looks to be pretty damn bad ass.Captain of Team Apolyton - ISDG 2012

With more time to prepare the laps around the farm could have been much more fun. Cow catchers on the front of the vehicles and knife/blade assemblies on the wheels (think Spartacus) could have prolonged that tactic."I have never killed a man, but I have read many obituaries with great pleasure." - Clarence Darrow

While acknowledging the "its just a show" rule, I never understand the threat of zombies. Considering how we've had all of human history to perfect the craft of killing people (if there is one thing humanity knows how to do well, it is killing) you'd think a bunch of mindless, unarmed people would pose no threat to an organized response.Captain of Team Apolyton - ISDG 2012

In movies they just pack it full of big action sequences, you don't get much of a chance to see how people are impacted by it all, and the day to day realities of life in such a crazy world. If anything I think it is kind of lame that they have to throw in (in a sometimes forced way) several zombie encounters in each episode just to keep the attention of folks like you.
Which is why it was slow.
I didn't say it sucked, I said it was slow, which it was.
Besides, the name of the show is The Walking Dead, not the Talking Dead.
