Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
Living at home is only an issue if you enjoy it. If you hate it and you're doing all you can to get out, then there's no issue. Also, you're not the only guy with parent troubles, but most people are willing to do whatever is necessary to be successful. Some people have it easier than others, that's life. The weak allow it to cause them to fail. Those who have experienced more pain than others are more likely to succeed if they use it as a tool. The amount of physical and mental pain you have experienced is directly proportional to the superiority you hold over others, assuming it's being used properly. I'm not sure why you would be mad at someone because their situation was better than yours.

Kuci talks about how he gets girls and stuff. I wonder how he brings them over to 'his place' and what they think... "Wow. It's like I'm in high school again hiding in one of the six bathrooms because his mom came into his room to dust... wait. Why does he even have this many bathrooms? O-M-G! Will Mrs. G hurry up and get out so I can stop hiding and I can **** this nerd before it's his beddy bye time?"

I'm sure he regrets not living in the crackhead district with you for the low, low price of $300/month. He's missing so many opportunities to date crazy stripper-whores, not have sex with them, and have them threaten his life. That's a character-building experience, that is.
I consider myself very risk-neutral, but this is kind of insane.

First of all, it's parent, not parents. Second, read back where I talked about enjoying the experience. Third, I live in a high unemployment area (12%) and have a relatively useless degree (Marketing) in an area that was never known for job prospects to begin with. To make matters worse, I'm practically partially disabled. I can't stand on my feet for more than 20min before I experience pain. Even sitting in a chair all day can be difficult and I risk bruising the vertebrate. I even woke up a few days ago with the disc partially slipped (I'm still not sure how this happened) causing me to have difficulty walking. I have to be careful even rocking in my rocking chair because the motion can cause damage. Bottom line, my options are almost non-existent as I am now. I don't plan on failing though so I immediately jumped into an IT degree and even qualified for a scholarship sponsored by some of the companies that back the University.
Thing is Albi I question if you really had such a ****ty upbringing. I like to think people who experience it are superior and have an advantage over others who haven't. Your personality doesn't seem like someone who has been hardened by their experiences. You're emotional, you are needy, and you are weak. Why do you exist? I don't see any real drive from you Albi, nor do I see a willingness to do whatever is necessary to succeed. You don't seem like someone that pushes their limits to the point of breaking. It's disappointing really. For me, I hate every ****ing minute of my life. My goals are my life and my only reason for existence. It's disgusting to me that someone would be so carefree as to worry about something as frivolous as girls ditching them and then to actually post about it on an internet forum. I told you before, you're a butter knife, not a straight edge.
I wonder how many girls prefer the crackhead district to someone who lives with their parents.
On the plus side, no 'rents bothering you. On the minus side, you've got "Shaky Jimmy" out in the hallway, fresh from his fourth court-ordered stint in rehab and muttering to the grungy stuffed bunny he carries for comfort. Relax, baby, he don't have no knife in that bunny, the fuzz took "Mr. Stabby" away last week.
I view a 21 year old adult living with his parents contemptible. Grow the hell up, rich boy
I lived with my mother till the age of 26 when I finally managed to pay off my third apartment, nowadays I work and live alone, but even if unemployed, I would still be able to survive (food, internet, a few books and movies per month) from the rent I get from the other 2 apartments.
For me living with my parents meant saving money which allowed me to invest money, but then, I live in a third world country, living with your parents till yourr mid 20's isn't seen as a tragedy
If I were presented with the option, how much money would you be willing to bet in order to have a 50% chance of winning 50.000 dollars or 250.000 dollars, it would be 25% of my income for 10 years for the former, and 40% of my income for 10 years for the later.

the fuzz? Where do you live again? Maryland? How far from Baltimore?

I don't think I can afford over USD 200 / month at the moment. And that's stretching it.
In any case, I'd probably only pay small amounts for the 50k and 250k 'bets', since, for almost any amount I could afford to pay off, I'd rather use that money on a lower risk investment. I'm not very fond of gambling in general.
Oh, in TEG, I prefer to conquer Africa and move from there.
Australia is the key. From that base you can sweep Asia, and then the world. Once I tried an African start, but then this Ethiopian I was playing with got all agitated that I was in his homeland, so he built a huge force in South America before I could consolidate and wiped me quick. I suck at Risk. Shouldn't this be in the Other Games forum?
To the actual OP: Are we to assume that this is a one-time only bet? There's no possibility of repeating the coin flip ten times or a hundred times?
If it were repeatable, I'd happily go with wagering more than $49 and less than $50. Sort of like what a casino does with roulette. Otherwise, I'll have to admit that I am more risk-averse.

that's funny.
