  • Britain should have conquered the world

Looking at former British colonies I can't help but notice that they seem to do better than those that where conquered by other people, such as the Portugese, Spanish, French, Chinese, Mongolian, Arabs, Zulu or Persian.

So what would the world have been like if the British empire or a union of the US and Britain in the early 20th century kept expanding? Lets try some alternative history wankery.
Modern man calls walking more quickly in the same direction down the same road “change.”
The world, in the last three hundred years, has not changed except in that sense.
The simple suggestion of a true change scandalizes and terrifies modern man. -Nicolás Gómez Dávila

              England Uber Alles!

The world would be a better place if those revolting colonists in New England had been properly put in their place.

We should all agree that the Belgians were the worst colonizers by far, even if Hera's initial point is bull.

Sorry, but Mozambique was Portugal. Still, carry on.

Zimbabwe used to be a great country, back when it was Rhodesia. Or at least, it used to be able to feed itself and not die of cholera, which is a relative improvement.

                          Hera's point is bull

The British Colonies that are doing great are those in which the locals were replaced or overwhelmed with British colonists, when you look at the asian and african colonies, your point does not stand.

With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.
