I've been to Washington DC. So I guess I've also been at the Burning of Washington which was a sort of battle during the War of 1812.

The only battlefield I went to visit specifically was Gettysburg
Have been at the sites of the Battle of Long Island and of Fort Washington, but that is because they are now parts of parks in NYC.If you don't like reality, change it! me

I love how people continuously ignore my point about specifically visiting a battlefield, as opposed to unknowingly wandering around some city where 'stuff' happened in the past...
If that were the case I could add the following, to name a few:
Battle of Berlin
The Sack of Rome
Fall of Constantinople
Battle of Copenhagen
Siege of Malta
Siege & Battle of Vienna / Vienna Offensive
Battle of Budapest
Bombing of Dresden
Battle of Singapore
Battle of Toulouse
Etc...
Only where you've actually been, people.Last edited by MOBIUS; October 4, 2010, 12:22.

I recently flew out of Gatwick and back in again, British airspace, the battlefield of the Battle of Britain.Jon Miller: MikeH speaks the truth
Jon Miller: MikeH is a shockingly revolting dolt and a masturbatory urine-reeking sideshow freak whose word is as valuable as an aging cow paddy.

As Al says:
The actual battlefield is now at a site called 'Battle', there is a village there and an abbey too. I'm sorry, I just assumed everyone would know the significance of 1066...
Google '1066' and whaddya get...?
