No. Elok's post referred to a song about the Beatles's thought on money. I posted the lyrics of a well known Beatles song, which had lyrics about money's buying power, saying that they didn't write the song but covered it early in their career. A valid reply to Elok's post. Then you quote my post, and assert that Wikipedia somehow proves me wrong. You seem to think that "Cant Buy Me Love" is the only valid response to Elok's post, which it is not.

That song made more sense in the context of the discussion, it was where my mind was (NOTE THE SONGS I POSTED AFTER ELOK SAID THAT), and it's the more popular song.
Maybe because I actually thought out what Elok was saying and you all didn't?"Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi
"I have nothing against Wilson, but he's nowhere near the same calibre of QB as Flutie. Flutie threw for 5k+ yards in the CFL." -Ben Kenobi

Originally posted by Al B. Sure! View PostI didn't say that. I said the Beatles didn't cover Money Can't Buy Me Love.
1) flash posted lyrics from 'Money', saying the Beatles covered it
2) you quoted his post saying "you're wrong"
3) since I recognized that the lyrics were from 'Money' I assumed you were saying the Beatles did not cover 'Money'

Because starting an argument over what I meant in one post a number of weeks ago is just too awesome a subject to be confined to one thread, huh?
