Wrong song, Flash
"Can't Buy Me Love" is a song composed by Paul McCartney[2] (credited to Lennon/McCartney) and released by The Beatles on the A-side of their sixth British single, "Can't Buy Me Love"/"You Can't Do That"."Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi

Look... Money thats what I want:
Money can't buy my love...
I assumed that's what Elok was getting at which is why I posted similar themed songs from Ralph Tresvant and Blackstreet. Money that's what I want is the opposite meaning (Kuci meaning)."Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi

Jesus, I don't even listen to the Beatles and I am aware of these songs and that Can't Buy Me Love and Money (That's what I want) are two different songs.
You made me rage a little

I was unaware of the Beatles' cover of that song (or, indeed, of that song itself). I figured it wouldn't be too long before Curtis used their more famous hit, or at least the words, to support his money-isn't-everything argument.

Flash posts lyrics from Money, saying the Beatles covered it
Alby claims that Wikipedia somehow refutes that
I'm like "huh?"
Alby claims that what he meant was that Elok was talking about a different song
So apparently there's a Wikipedia article about Elok.

So apparently I'm the only one who understood Elok's reference
And you're the douche who wants to act incredulous and end up showing his ass in the process."Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi

You're the twit who assumed other people didn't know that Can't Buy Me Love and Money are two different songs. You also made a post that implied the Beatles didn't cover Money, either because you can't communicate clearly or you're just a dumbass. If you really wanted to say that Elok was referencing a different song, you could have just said that from the start instead of implying something else and then acting like a know it all.

What I did know was what Elok's reference was and it was to Can't Buy Me Love."Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi
